The following are value added improvements available for
your eyewear and sunwear, as well as the types of
lenses available, and their application.

Lens Types

SINGLE VISION Single vision lenses have a single viewing area and correct for one specific vision problem.

FLAT-TOP BIFOCALS Bifocals correct for two vision problems in one lens. Flat-Top bifocals are available with the bifocal portion made in a variety of widths to help with various up-close activities. Flat-Top bifocals are made in every type of lens material.

TRIFOCALS Trifocals come in a variety of widths. These added segments provide clear vision at arm’s-length distance, the area that is usually blurred for bifocal wearers.

PROGRESSIVES These lenses provide all the benefits of bifocals and also offer continuous clear vision at all distances, including intermediate distance (arm’s length). Progressives have the cosmetic advantage of appearing to be single vision lenses, so no one knows you are wearing bifocals/trifocals.

BROWSER For those who use a computer for a large portion of their day.

Lens Enhancements

SCRATCH PROTECTION Plastic and High Index materials can be more easily scratched than glass lenses. Special coatings have been developed to protect these lenses from normal scratching.

UV PROTECTION It is generally accepted that ultraviolet rays in sunlight pose potential harm to the eyes. A special treatment is available for plastic lenses to block out hazardous UV light.

ANTI-REFLECTIVE Anti-Reflective coatings are effective for reducing eye fatigue and improving vision for night driving. These coatings also enhance appearance by removing distracting reflections. Vision is improved with an anti-reflective coating by five to eight percent.

TINTS Darker tints can protect your eyes from the sun. Lighter tints are for cosmetic purposes only.

EDGE POLISH Edge polish is a treatment applied to the side of a lens. It will remove the opaque finish on the lens edge, creating a shiny, clear finish that is more attractive.

POLARIZED These are exciting sunglass lenses that eliminate reflective glare. They are especially appropriate for drivers, fisherman, hunters and can be used for all types of outdoor activities.
